The Opportunity
The Assistant Vice President is responsible for supporting Client Service Professionals (CSPs) in the administration and fiduciary oversight of a diverse portfolio of alternative investment funds while regularly engaging with clients and third-party service providers. The role serves as an important link between internal and external parties, helping to deliver exceptional client service, maintain strong operational controls, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Key duties will include:
- Support business development initiatives by participating in new business enquiries, analysing proposed structures, reviewing transaction documents and providing comments to relevant stakeholders as appropriate, and coordinating our client acceptance and onboarding processes
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders, including legal counsel, investment managers, fund administrators, prime brokers, and other transaction parties across multiple international jurisdictions.
- Support the financial statement review process for CSPs, including the review and analysis of financial statements, management representation letters, engagement letters, and other required documentation, while providing timely and substantive feedback.
- Assist CSPs with the preparation, review, and submission of U.S. and foreign tax-related documentation to ensure compliance with applicable filing requirements and deadlines.
- Support CSPs in achieving quarterly key performance indicator (KPI) objectives and broader business goals.
- Serve as the designated administrator for a limited portfolio of fiduciary mandates, ensuring efficient and compliant day-to-day administration.
- Participate in conference calls, board meetings, and other client-facing engagements as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and transaction information within internal systems and databases, ensuring the integrity of data and records related to assigned client portfolios and business development activities.
- Coordinate the preparation and timely distribution of client invoices in accordance with applicable administration agreements. Assist Corporate Administrators and CSPs with billing requirements for both existing and newly onboarded client mandates.
- Contribute to the development of team capabilities by preparing and delivering training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a strong academic record.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in the financial services industry; experience in back- or middle-office functions or a related discipline is preferred.
- Understanding of investment funds, alternative investment structures, and related securities.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing transaction documents, financial statements, and supporting corporate records.
- Knowledge of corporate governance principles, fiduciary responsibilities, and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional correspondence, prepare presentations, and effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
